Our story
My first memory of a saree is my mother’s. As a child, I wiped my face on it, hid behind it and wrapped it around myself like a shield.
Over the years, I came to realise that a saree is more than a garment. It is a beautiful way of expressing who we are without saying a word.

How that love became Punartha
From a memory to a boutique
Rekha began visiting the places where sarees are made, meeting the weavers and artisans behind them. She started curating their work and bringing her selections to her boutique. That is how Punartha took shape.
Today, Punartha connects you with India’s skilled weavers and traditional artisans, bringing their work into contemporary wardrobes while staying close to the textile’s origin.
A personal connection to the places, crafts and people behind each drape.
