It began with my mother’s saree.
My first memory of a saree is my mother’s. As a child, I wiped my face on it, hid behind it and wrapped it around myself like a shield.
Over the years, I came to realise that a saree is more than a garment. It is a beautiful way of expressing who we are without saying a word.
